Frontend Engineer

Engineering

Remote (US, UK, CA)

Contract

We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer who cares deeply about craft, clarity, and how complex data feels in motion. Infrawatch processes over 10 billion events every day, turning vast streams of threat intelligence into clarity and action.

You'll play a key role in shaping our analyst-first dashboard, built with ReactJS and TailwindCSS, which powers investigations into malicious networks, proxies, and malware infrastructure. Every interaction you design helps analysts move faster, see clearer, and stay ahead of adversaries, transforming overwhelming data into decisive insight.

You'll build tools that help defenders cut through the noise, uncover hidden threat networks, and act fast when it matters most. You'll be part of a team that cares deeply about quality - of the code, of the design, and of the mission.

Join us, and help turn market-leading data into clarity and action.

You'll collaborate closely with engineers and researchers to turn complex, evolving datasets into intuitive, high-impact visual workflows that empower security teams across governments, enterprises, and beyond.

We're a remote-first company with presence in Edinburgh and London. This role is suited for US, UK or CA.

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience in front-end development, with significant hands-on work using ReactJS and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Move fast without cutting corners - iterate, refine, and deliver with care.

  • An obsession with detail - you care how a button feels, how data loads, and how clarity emerges from complexity.

  • Professional experience managing state within React applications using the Context API, maintaining clear data flow and consistent application logic.

  • Experience extending and evolving a design system, keeping things clean, consistent, and fast to build on.

  • Familiarity with integrating and iterating on Framer-driven UI systems (React).

  • Top-tier communication skills - written, spoken, async, or otherwise. We collaborate remotely, but we think together.

  • A curious, creative mindset - you love finding elegant ways to make the Infrawatch experience smoother, faster, and smarter.

  • The ability to think critically about trade-offs, balancing performance, security, and maintainability.

  • A healthy respect for security implications in everything you ship.

  • Comfort using AI tools as an enhancer, not a crutch - your thinking and engineering expertise lead the way.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the Information Security / Cybersecurity industry.

  • Publicly verifiable technical work, such as open-source contributions, GitHub repos, or blog posts.

  • Familiarity with Infrawatch's data or domain.

  • Experience with ClickHouse or Apache Lucene.

Benefits

  • Flexible time off - we focus on outcomes, not hours.

  • Lunch stipend (DoorDash or Deliveroo) - because good ideas start with good food.

  • Infrawatch swag - quality gear, not throwaway merch.

  • Ownership and autonomy - you'll have the space to experiment, build, and leave your mark.
